The most important place to start with maintaining your pool water is making sure that it is safe for you to swim in. This means creating and maintaining the proper level of chlorine in the water to kill bacteria and keep the water clean.
Hot tub water, while very similar to pool water, can be trickier to maintain due to the higher temperatures of the water. First, the biggest advantage is that the outside elements (rain, snow, dirt, etc) are not being introduced into your hot tub water continuously thanks to the spa cover.
Be sure to test your pool & spa water weekly at home. We have a selection of test strips, multiple types of kits, and reagent replacements for you.
